Xiaomi is one of the more active companies when it comes to software updates. Due to the wide variety of phone models the company offers, it’s not feasible to provide continuous software support for all of them. Xiaomi regularly shares a list known as the “EOS list” (End of Support) with users, which specifies the devices that will no longer receive updates at certain intervals. As of now, here are the smartphones for which Xiaomi has ended support and no longer provides updates.
Xiaomi models whose update support has ended
Xiaomi typically provides software support for its smartphones for around two years. The company also periodically updates the EOS list on its official website, which includes devices that have reached the end of their update cycle.
For the devices added to Xiaomi’s EOS list, they will no longer receive MIUI, Android, or security updates. However, Xiaomi doesn’t completely close the door on these devices. If a serious security vulnerability is identified, these devices may still receive updates, even if they are no longer officially supported.
